The private eye clinic of Prof. Dr. Elif Betül Türkoğlu is in the Muratpaşa district of central Antalya. Prof. Türkoğlu is an ocular oncologist and cataract and lens surgeon who sees adults and children. As an English-speaking ophthalmologist, she consults with international patients in English as well as in Turkish.

What to include in your first message

• your name, age, country and preferred language;
• the reason for contacting the practice — your symptoms, which eye and since when, or the treatment you are interested in;
• any diagnosis or treatment so far;
• reports and images, such as photographs, ultrasound, OCT or MRI, including earlier images if you have them;
• for a child: the child's age and, if relevant, a photograph showing a white glow in the pupil or a squint;
• your preferred dates if you plan to travel.

Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:00; closed on Sundays. Times are Türkiye time (UTC+3).

Coming to your appointment

• Bring your previous reports and images, your glasses, details of any contact lenses, and a list of your medicines.
• Allow enough time: an eye examination often includes dilating drops and several imaging tests.
• Dilating drops blur vision for some hours, so plan not to drive yourself home, and bring sunglasses.
• If your child is being examined, bring anything that helps the child stay calm during tests.

Finding the practice

The practice is in Özdemir Plaza at No. 42 Bülent Ecevit Boulevard, in the Fener neighborhood of Muratpaşa, the central district of Antalya. From Antalya Airport (AYT) the journey takes about 20–30 minutes by car, depending on traffic; a taxi or a pre-booked transfer is the simplest option.
