Is the information on this website medical advice?
No. The pages give general information about eye diseases and their treatment. They cannot diagnose your condition or replace an examination by an eye doctor. Reading the website or sending a request does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Such a relationship begins only when a consultation or a review of your records has been agreed with our practice. The medical disclaimer explains this in more detail.
How should you use the request form?
The request form is the way to ask the practice a question or send your records. When you use it:
- give correct contact details, so that the practice can reply by the method you choose;
- send another person's information, such as a relative's reports, only with that person's permission, or as the parent or legal guardian of a child;
- send only the information needed for your question.
The form is not for emergencies. The practice replies by the method you choose, but we cannot promise a reply within a particular time.
How is the content prepared?
Our pages about eye diseases and their treatment are based on published studies and guidelines, and they give references to their sources. Each medical page shows its medical review status. Illustrations created with artificial intelligence carry the label "Illustration". Our editorial policy explains how we check and correct the content.
We prepare the content with reasonable care. However, we cannot promise that it is complete, free of errors or up to date at every moment. We may change, update or remove content at any time without notice.
Can you copy or quote the content?
